The Tiger is Almost Back Into the Jungle

Tonight I stay awake drafting my resignation letter to the University of Southern California. It feels like I am leaving more that just a place of employment. 8 years is a long time. It’s felt like a life-time of learning, working, making friends…and memories, too many for one man to recount in one sitting.
But before I get sentimental, first thing first: have a garage sale! Right, it’s a cleansing ritual that is quite necessary after the decade-plus of consumerism in the US. Items on sale varies from a sushi knife to a BMW.
In the jungle, one would want to travel light. All you need is your health, the desire to make it, a bit of luck, and a bit of love.
